SBC Manager — Backups, Restore, and Remote Storage
SBC Manager backs up the full database, the generated Asterisk configuration, and the application environment settings.
Scheduled Backups
Go to Settings → Backup Schedule to set:
- Frequency (hourly, daily, or weekly)
- Time of day
- How many backups to retain locally
Manual Backups
Go to Operations → Backups and click Create backup now. The backup appears in the local inventory below, where each entry can be Downloaded to your computer.
Restoring
On the Backups page, use the Upload & Restore form to upload a backup ZIP. The restore replaces the current database and Asterisk configuration with the backup contents. Application credentials are preserved automatically so the system keeps working after restore.
Important: Restore replaces all current data. Verify the backup is from a compatible version before restoring.
Remote Backup (S3)
Go to Settings → Remote Storage to configure an S3-compatible bucket. Once configured, every backup is automatically pushed to the remote bucket after local creation. Remote backups appear in a separate section of the Backups page and can be restored directly from there.
Monitoring Backup Health
The dashboard's Backup Health panel warns when the most recent backup is older than the retention window — if you see the warning, create a manual backup and verify the schedule.
