SBC Manager — Carrier Templates and the New Endpoint Wizard
Carrier templates provide pre-built, tested configurations for common carriers and use cases, and the New Endpoint wizard walks through provisioning a complete interconnect in one pass.
Carrier Templates
Go to Trunks → Carrier Templates. Built-in templates include:
- Microsoft Teams Direct Routing
- Bandwidth
- SIPLive
- Telnyx
- Twilio Elastic SIP Trunking
- Skyetel
- Flowroute
- Generic PBX
- Generic TLS carrier
Select a template to see recommended settings, firewall requirements, codec guidance, and security notes. A template can be applied when creating a new trunk via the wizard, or applied to an existing trunk from the template detail page.
New Endpoint Wizard
Click + New Endpoint in the navigation to launch the wizard. It combines every step of standing up a new interconnect:
- Choose a carrier template (or start from scratch)
- Enter the peer's connection details and authentication
- Set codecs, capacity, and security options
- Review and save
The wizard stages the trunk and its related settings together, so a working carrier interconnect can be provisioned in a couple of minutes. As with all changes, run an Apply afterwards to make it live.
