SBC
SBC Manager — Fraud Controls
Destination fraud rules allow or block outbound calls to specific number patterns before Asterisk configuration is generated. Go to Policy → Fraud Control to manage rules.
Rule Types
| Type | Description |
|---|---|
| Block | Reject calls to the matching destination prefix |
| Allow | Explicitly permit calls (overrides a broader block rule) |
Evaluation Order
Rules are evaluated longest-prefix first: a more specific allow rule always overrides a broader block. For example, block 011 (all international) but allow 01144 (UK) — UK calls complete while all other international calls are rejected.
Typical Baseline
- Block high-risk international prefixes not used by your business
- Block premium-rate ranges
- Allow the specific international destinations you do call
Changes to fraud rules take effect after the next Apply. Combine fraud rules with per-trunk Max Channels limits and the SIP firewall allowlist for layered protection against toll fraud.
